Brews and Baseball

Following our gardening work, we headed across the bay to Oakland to catch an A’s game with friends Mike and Georgeanna.  First stop was Beer Revolution before the game for some sun and refreshments (with very high alcohol content).

Beer Revolution offers over 45 beers on tap and we tried our best to sample them all.  Chris had a Sierra Nevada Life and Limb and a Marin Brewing Company White Knuckle Double IPA.  Annie had an Anderson Valley Brother David’s Triple and another whose name escapes us (some sort of Saison with a mention of “your mother” included in the name).

After beers, we hopped on BART to watch the game.   The A’s were playing the Twins and to our surprise, it turned out to be a warm night (something that you don’t get very often in the Bay Area). A’s win 8-3!
