After some delicious Korean food, we packed up the car with all of our guns and our Aussie friend, Chris Jay, who was visiting for the weekend. Destination: the shooting range in Concord, CA, for some fire action before Chris’ work party.
We first took to the shotgun range to shoot trap and from there, in the word’s of Chris Jay, things just got better and better. After Annie and Chris Jay took a three minute safety course, we went to the pistol range to shoot our .38 revolver (Annie’s trigger happy finger was able to capture the fire coming out of the barrel) and finally to the rifle range to shoot our most powerful firearm, a .30-06 rifle.
What better way to top of the day than with a work party at Pyramid Brewery for beers, food and fun (we scored prizes and gifts galore). Chris won two awards, one for being “tough but fair” when handling business and another for his efforts to “establish camouflage as the next black.” Cheers mates!
